The principal partner of Tasman Agri, Stuart Clarke has decades of experience focused on managing procurement, trading and supply chains of grain from Farmer to Domestic Consumers across Australia. Having largely focused on the Domestic Market across his career, Stuart has built unsurpassed relationships and knowledge across all Domestic markets and their participants.
About Us
Stuart’s experience spans 20 years within large corporate and private mid-tier grain businesses, responsible for trading across multiple commodities and geographies. Stuart career includes 14 years working for a market leading supply chain and trading company. As Senior Trader, Stuart oversaw the formation and trading of the businesses domestic wheat trading strategies and national accumulation. Other positions held include Senior Trader - Barley, managing the businesses Feed and Malting Barley trading from accumulation through to export destination; Pools Manager, overseeing the operation and governance of the businesses managed grower Pool program business; and Logistics and Back-office roles. Stuart was then a founding member of what is now strong mid-tier 1.5 million metric tonne per year bulk export and domestic trading business. Stuart is the founder and Managing Director of Tasman Agri, and is responsible for business and trading strategies, governance and day to day trading activities.
